This family home was desperate for an update, the walls were clad in honey coloured Oak, we created a new new contemporary look by painting the wall panelling leave a more clean and simple feel.

We removed the cumbersome doors that separated the lounge to the dining area to feel more open and airy. We saved costs by adapting was there, rather then gutting the place and starting again from scratch. We kept the existing internal honey coloured doors to contrast and warm up all the new greys.

The materials really give the space its character, black marble table top and antique mirror panels open the space and add more layers of texture. The large wall of dark micro plaster in the lounge works great against the clean white furniture. The wow factor is the hanging glass ball light fitting over the dining table that acts as an object of art more then anything.
